Summer Colors III - Sold

"Summer Colors III", 36 x 48" Acrylic, Sold

This is the largest painting in my "Summer Colors" series - based on the lovely pastel version, "Summer Colors II", this was a challenge to translate it into a very large painting, 36" x 48"!  To do that it made sense to move to acrylic.  How happy I am with the way it turned out.  My approach was much like that of the pastel piece, big sections of simplified shapes into solid colors.  The whole process was a joy from start to finish.
